On 9th November 2018, the National Council for Science and Technology (NCST) joined the rest of the world to celebrate the World Science Day. In Rwanda, this celebration took place at the University of Rwanda – College of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine (CAVM), Busogo campus, in Musanze District.

The National Research and Innovation Fund (NRIF) was officially launched on Wednesday 13th June 2018.
